General Notes:
In 1851, he is staying with his Uncle R T Lagden, aged 20 In 1861, the family is at Park Farm, Doddinghurst. Henry is a farmer aged 30. In 1866, William, Henry & Jeremiah are appointed as executors for their uncle Richard Thomas Lagden, who leaves a considerable legacy to his extended family, i.e. the Lagden, Littlechild, Alderton and Lagden nieces and nephews etc. In 1871, he is still at Park Farm, a Farmer of 143 acres employing 8 men. he is aged 40. Henry is the Church Warden at Doddinghurst for many years, and receives a clock for his services in 1896, in his 65th year. I have pictures of this clock, and the transcibed plate on the clock!! In 1901, he is living with his son and daughter-in-law In 1911, at Kelvedon Common, a widow. His death record in 1916 quotes him as from Shenfield, and then Doddinghurst for the past 41 years. He is quoted as a Parish Church warden of Doddinghurst.
Henry married Sarah Ann. (Sarah Ann was born about 1831 in Stondon and died on 6 Jun 1895 in Doddinghurst.)
