General Notes:
In 1861, he is aged 4, living at Kelvedon Farm where his father John is the Farmer. In 1871, he is a servant at the Eagle Inn, South Weald, aged 14. Also known as the Spread Eagle. The 1881 census shows him with a wife Esther, and his first son William. The 1891 census shows his age as 32. They are living in Whalebone Lane in 1891 with other Littlechild members John (age 30) & George (age 40) are boarding with them. The 1901 census shows William as a railway labourer from Kelvedon (Hatch), living at Fowls Cottages, Whalebone Lane, Dagenham. Their lodger at this time ends up marrying Rose in 1907 His burial record shows their address as 54 Whalebone Lane, Becontree Heath
